What Does JEI Do For MineCraft?
What Does JEI Do For MineCraft?A number of people in the Minecraft community are concerned about the effects of JEI on their Minecraft accounts. This is a little tricky since JEI is not a mandatory part of Minecraft but it is a set of configuration options that make your world behave in a certain way.You will notice that you are not able to customize your world unless you have JEI enabled, which means that for a better experience you would have to turn off JEI and continue to play without customization. Some people in the Minecraft community are not too happy about this because they are losing out on some great experiences they can get out of the game.Jean Marcoy, lead developer for Mojang, has said that JEI is optional and players can continue playing without it if they want to. The community might disagree but at least they don't have to worry about ruining their game.A few days ago, I had a problem with the JEI tool and I spent an hour looking for MCPhetamines but ended up finding something else. This was because Jean Marcoy found a fix for the problem and I wrote this post to let everyone know that the fix for my problem was real. The fix involves changing a very important setting in Minecraft. It is very important that you change the JEI setting for the name of your character in Minecraft. The reason I do this is because minecraft and the launcher were causing my character's name to be displayed as 'Untitled' and I wanted to keep mine unmodified. The problem is that the launcher uses JEI to do this and with JEI you can't customize your character's name.So what you need to do is go to the control panel in Minecraft and select options. Then click the compatibility tab and make sure that JEI is turned off. If this doesn't work, you need to follow the instructions from Jean Marcoy's blog post.If your world keeps crashing and burning, do the same thing with the backup of your world and back up your worlds. And finally, stop being so frustrated because you don't have to compromise your experience. You can always go back to your original settings when you make the final decision.
